A growing element of WordStream’s marketing efforts is our partner marketing, which leverages relationships with complementary companies in and tangential to our industry in order to drive qualified leads. The right candidate for this role will manage the coordination, processing and reporting of this channel. The Partner marketing specialist will ensure flawless execution of our Partner marketing initiatives.
The Partner and Events Marketing Specialist will also be responsible for managing and coordinating our tradeshow programs, working to identify the right industry and networking events best suited to build brand awareness and generate new business. Travel will likely be no more than one event per quarter, and responsibilities will include all event logistics, messaging and material creation as well as on-site management.
The Partner and Events Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the development, execution, tracking, and maintenance of our partner lead generation and tradeshow programs.

- Webinars
- Online advertising
- Social media
- Tradeshows
- Events
- Joint content authorship
Responsibilities:
- Prepare new materials or adapt existing successful content and programs from our direct sales and marketing teams for channel use.
- Measure program success. This includes weekly reporting on programs and metrics.
- Ensure successful execution of joint marketing events through coordinating event requests, materials creation (invites, RSVP pages), tracking and follow up.
- Create campaign copy, landing pages, and follow-up email responses.
- Coordinate programs and communicate with the inside sales organization.
- Assure strong and accurate reflection of our company messages, differentiation, brand, logo and trademarks in all partner and joint marketing campaigns.
- Manage all event, sponsorship and speaking engagement related logistics.
This is a full-time, salaried position with competitive salary based on experience. Position includes equity participation and comprehensive benefits (healthcare, vision and dental).
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or other related field, with marketing, advertising or communications preferred.
- 3-5 years of marketing experience, including background in marketing services, events, online marketing programs, communications, database marketing or related role executing interactive or direct marketing programs.
- An understanding of processes, systems and procedures associated with demand generation.
- Analytical capabilities.
- A solid understanding of B2B marketing programs, events, promotions and best practices.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing requirements and shifting priorities.
- Detail-oriented. Can multi-task and juggle many simultaneous priorities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; excellent listening skills.
- Hard-working, determined self-starter.
- Experience with Marketo or similar automated marketing campaigns programs and Salesforce.com.
- Proficient in standard Microsoft programs (Adobe design program and HTML a plus).
- Strong relationship management skills.
