It's almost here! This is exciting for me, guys – I travel all over the place attending and speaking at the industry's best conferences. However, there's nothing quite like welcoming people to your own city to learn, network, do business and yes, even play.

SearchLove, the incredibly information-packed two-day conference put on by Distilled, returns to Boston this month and brings with it a host of experts in analytics, content, PPC, website optimization and of course, SEO.

I'm honored to be presenting my Mad Science of PPC Marketing for Inbound Marketers at 4:20pm on day one and will be sharing unusual white-hat link building strategies, content promotion tips, tactics for using paid promotion to amplify your organic efforts and more.

Other sessions you won't want to miss are… well, all of them, and I'm not saying that just to suck up. Distilled's SearchLove is unique in that it's a single-track conference, so you can make it to every single session. While I do like the variety you get at larger events with two, four or even six tracks running at once, SearchLove has done a great job of bringing such high quality and relevance to each session that you really won't want to skip out on any of them.

You also end up spending more time with the other participants and speakers, as you're all in each session and networking opportunity together. It definitely makes for a more intimate experience, if that's what you're after.

This year, conversion scientist Brian Massey will be sharing the results of mobile conversion studies he's done on live sites to kick off the conference. A steady stream of expert advice and information from speakers throughout the first day ranges from social media ROI, to mobile-friendliness for search optimization, to actionable insights from analytics and more. The first day culminates with a panel of all expert speakers sharing their best, proven, most actionable tip for attendees only in Let's Get Real just after 5pm.

This year, Wizard of Moz Rand Fishkin opens the second day of SearchLove with his can't-miss keynote SEO & Web Marketing Trends in 2015.

Other day two speakers include Ian Lurie from Portent, Kick Point's Dana DiTomaso, Luke Summerfield from HubSpot, Amanda McGowan from SEER Interactive and others.

And outside of the conference? I hope you'll have a chance to explore the Fenway Park area– take a working break at the Samuel Adams Brew House on Germania St., or tour the iconic Boston Red Sox home field, if you can squeeze it in.

A bit further from the conference venue, make sure you check out Harvard Square while you're here. "Pahk the cah" and take some time to wander. Go hungry; there are a ton of little Italian trattorias and other great places to grab a quick bite.

Architecture-lovers, make time to visit the Back Bay neighborhood. In addition to its being the home of WordStream's headquarters, this area is famous for rows of Victorian brownstones widely considered among the best-preserved 19th century designs left standing in the US.

So there you have it – I hope while you're in town for Distilled's SearchLove conference, you'll have time to experience a bit more of what Boston has to offer. We're not just a kickass startup and tech hub! Although if you're looking for some startup mojo to go with your new and improved digital marketing knowledge, we've got you covered there, too.

Register for SearchLove Boston and I'll see you there!
